Small classes – big business benefits

Do small business classes work?

Owning your own business is usually a dream come true, the realisation of months of planning, or even a spur of the moment action of excitement! However, no matter what stage you are in your business journey, be it start up, established or struggling, we have found that it is always helpful to top up your business “nouse”. We know this is important because, based on all of our knowledge and experience, we know that your business is rather like a child who you are naturally protective of and want the very best for, but in that context, no-one will ever love it quite as much as you do – except, perhaps, us here at HDK. We have developed lots of short courses specifically designed to teach you loads about how to focus and develop your business.

What will I learn?

Here is a sample from our vast menu of courses or ‘inputs’, some of which we run as a ‘cluster’ during a single session, as they fit so well together, and others require a whole class to themselves:

Course 1

  • How to start a company
  • Brand
  • Policies and procedures

Course 2

  • Tone of voice
  • Avatars
  • Marketing strategy

Course 3

  • Marketing communications
  • Email campaigns
  • Social media content – the differences

Course 4

  • How to write a blog

Course 5

  • The leader within

Course 6

  • Staff welfare
  • Staff training
  • Staff appraisals

We are also happy to respond to your needs.  If there is an aspect of business that you feel less confident in, or don’t have much knowledge, we will ensure that we can bring that expertise to you.

How long are the classes?

Classes run for a period of 2 hours – to include a short break – and can be held at your place of work or at an alternative facility and can be held outside of the workday hours if you are embarking on a private, personal journey. We strongly recommend that you select a menu of courses that will be of benefit to you, as this will enable us to create a targeted programme of learning and development, from which you will build week on week, or month on month, dependent upon your timetable.  However, if you just wish to pluck out one input, such as “Brand”, then we are more that happy to deliver that as a one off training session.

What do they cost?

Each ‘stand-alone’ session costs £65.00.  However, if you were to book three sessions, these would be delivered for a cost of £150.00. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 attendees, so it is guaranteed that your thoughts, questions and scenarios will be listened to and addressed or developed.

In summary.

Yes, small business classes work.  They are effective because they are intense, expert driven learning sessions, all designed to extend your knowledge and understanding in all aspects of business and marketing. It might just be one of the biggest investments you make in your company.
