HDK Marketing imagined the experience of being able to go into a shop and customers being able to browse and select products. However if you’re selling B2B you have to rely on either a printed catalogue or a website and hope that your customers will take the time to browse through them. The reality is, they don’t have the time. Just because a product is on your website does not mean that your customer will find it – even though it might be a perfect solution for their needs..
So we designed a digital news bulletin which would be sent out on a weekly basis. The newsletter was designed to feature two key products, explain the attributes of each product and, finally, to share a technical tip at the end of the newsletter.
This communication method allows SSi to showcase their products in an engaging and customer focused way.
The newsletters contain links that also drive customers to the SSi website to further raise awareness of SSi as a brand and a company of technical excellence.
The result was that the newsletters received an open rate above the industry average with some customers opening them several times.
