Super Systems Europe (SSi) design, manufacture and supply top quality furnace measurement and control systems. Their product range is extremely wide and varied. As experts in their field, they also provide a great deal of technical advice to their customers in how to get the best out of heat treatment equipment.

What we did…

HDK Marketing imagined the experience of being able to go into a shop and customers being able to browse and select products. However if you’re selling B2B you have to rely on either a printed catalogue or a website and hope that your customers will take the time to browse through them. The reality is, they don’t have the time. Just because a product is on your website does not mean that your customer will find it – even though it might be a perfect solution for their needs..

So we designed a digital news bulletin which would be sent out on a weekly basis. The newsletter was designed to feature two key products, explain the attributes of each product and, finally, to share a technical tip at the end of the newsletter.

This communication method allows SSi to showcase their products in an engaging and customer focused way.

The newsletters contain links that also drive customers to the SSi website to further raise awareness of SSi as a brand and a company of technical excellence.

The result was that the newsletters received an open rate above the industry average with some customers opening them several times.


HDK helped us to better inform our customers about our wide and varied range of products. Their features provide great benefits to the heat treatment sector and it was important for us to educate our customers. The newsletter approach has improved relationships with our customers and has led to leads and sales.
