Based on our experience working with The Bell Inn, HDK Marketing were asked to help with the re-opening of The Chequers, following an extensive and loving restoration. This 14th Century coaching house has an iconic place in the heart of the town and a reputation for real ale and classic pub ambiance.
What we did…
We prepared a plan to maximise the anticipation of the re-opening and teasing details of the new refurbishment and menu using Facebook. Many of our posts created conversations, Likes and Shares.
We set up an event on Facebook and invited our following to come along to the launch week.
We organised posters, banners and flyers announcing the re-opening week events.
We arranged for press coverage in many local newspapers, local radio and via local Facebook pages and groups.
